WOMEN EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM
Empowering Adolescent Girls & Women Through Community Engagement
Women constitute half of India's population, yet face systemic barriers to equal participation in social, economic, and political spheres. Gandhiji Seva Sangam's Women Empowerment Program is dedicated to breaking these barriers by providing women and adolescent girls with the knowledge, skills, resources, and platforms they need to become self-reliant, confident, and active contributors to their families and communities.
Our Philosophy
"When you educate a man, you educate an individual. When you empower a woman, you empower a family, a community, and a nation." - Our program is built on this belief that women's empowerment is the key to holistic community development.

Success Story
"Meena, a 28-year-old woman from a marginalized community, joined our SHG program five years ago with just ₹10 in savings. Through our tailoring training and microfinance support, she started a small tailoring business from her home. Today, she employs three other women from her village, earns ₹15,000 per month, and has sent her two daughters to private school. She is now the president of her SHG federation, mentoring 15 other groups. Meena's transformation inspires her entire community."
