Recognizing youth as agents of change, GSS invests in skill development and employability for marginalized rural youth and adolescent girls. Every year, we enroll young people in vocational training programs such as fitter and turner, driving, computer basics, carpentry, electronics, tailoring, modern dressmaking, and beautician courses.
To date, 2,600 rural youth and adolescent girls have gained trade-based skills that open pathways to decent employment, self-employment, and improved livelihoods—reducing unemployment and migration pressures.
